A new foundation with deep roots in the community
The Southern Marin Fire Foundation is brand new, but the people behind it have been showing up for Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tam Valley and the surrounding communities for generations.
Our first programs are launching now. Donors who give today are helping build them from the ground up.
Generations of service
The same commitment, decade after decade
Southern Marin Fire was formed in 1999 when the Alto-Richardson Bay and Tamalpais fire districts merged. The Sausalito Fire Department joined in 2012, and the Mill Valley Fire Department in 2023, bringing generations of local firefighters together under one district.
